Hailey Turned 8!

Hailey designed this cake for her birthday. I have been having so much fun making cakes with her lately.

Taylor's sister lent me this dress for Hailey's baptism.  It fit her perfectly and she looked so pretty in it.

I was so upset that I didn't take a picture of this cake before we started cutting it. Taylor tried to push it back together to get this shot.

We call Hailey "JJ" which stands for Julie Junior. She looks just like Julie did when she was younger. Her personality is so similar to her too. I would be so happy if she turns out like her when she grows up.

I am so grateful for a family that will do everything they can to show support to my children for accomplishments such as this.  It was such a wonderful day.   Sometimes I cannot believe that three of my children are already baptized.  Where has the time gone?

My Duty

Argh! I have been dreading this day for months. I have even woken up in the middle of the night in a panic, thinking I had forgotten to make that important phone call.

 Finally, at 6 pm I made that ever so important call and heard exactly what I was hoping to hear.  "Prospective jurors with badge numbers 101 to #800 are not to report and that completes your service."   

WOOOOHOOOO!!!

It used to be so easy to get out of jury duty. Just call my lawyer daddy and get him to make a call for me.  Now, they won't even let HIM out of duty.

Man Cold

I saw this video on a friend's blog and really had a huge laugh.  Granted, Taylor wasn't around or I would have had to tame my reaction.  Of course I'm also not saying that my husband is like this man.........

Target.....a Heaven on Earth

On 215 & Deer Springs Road a new Target opened.  I was thrilled since I absolutely LOVE target.  It's especially great because it's clean and new.  Even the carts are a new type of cart....plastic and so light....very easy to move.  This is the first time I've seen such a large food section in one of these stores.  

I only had about an hour to shop before I had to pick up kids from school, but the deals I did find were awesome!  A case of Marketplace water is $1 (regularly $4.00....limit 2) Kraft Mac & Cheese is $.39 (regularly $1.24....no limit), & Goldfish crackers (6.6 oz for $1, down from $1.90 I think....no limit).  These are just a few, but I'm sure there are many more.  

Since I was so nice to Taylor on Valentine's Day, maybe he'll oblige me this one time and take me here for our Friday night date.

Argh! Computers!

Okay, so I love computers. I love blogging. I love e-mail. I do realize, however, how dependant I am on them. 

Our computer decided to take a sabbatical last week. Actually, it may be more than that unfortunately.  Usually Taylor's really good at figuring out the issue, but it's even beyond that point now. Hopefully our friend can get this thing up and working or I'm really going to cry.  

Until then, I'll just be checking up on everyone else's posts.  Besides, what fun is posting without pictures, and at this point I have absolutely zero. 

 Oh well, guess I have to be patient.
